TNOA Dr. N.S. VENUGOPAL CENTENARY GOLD MEDAL FOR BEST POST GRADUATE THESIS

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

1. The thesis abstract should be submitted through the conference website portal.

2. A selection committee will go through the submissions and short list them according to their content, originality, methods and their scientific value.

3. The short-listed submissions will be eligible for a podium presentation and the best thesis will be selected by a panel of judges for the award.

4. The thesis should be submitted only after the member has appeared for their final post graduate examination and should be within 2 years of appearing for the final year examinations as of 1 st January of each conference year (All Candidates who appeared for examination in the years 2022 and 2023 will be eligible).

5. Once the thesis is short listed for podium presentation, it is to be presented during the conference and the duration of presentation is 8 minutes only (6 min presentation + 2 min discussion).

6. The presenter must be or become a Life Member of the TNOA on (or) before May 31ST 2024 to be eligible for the award.

7. Institutions name / hospital affiliation where the thesis was done or the guides/candidates name should not be mentioned anywhere in the abstract submission. Any form of non-compliance will lead to automatic rejection.

Abstract Title: The title of the abstract SHOULD NOT exceed 100 characters (including spaces)

Synopsis: The synopsis should include Aims & Objectives, Methods & Materials used, Conclusions in brief.
